We'd rather you try CloudSynth properly before paying — a starter set of concepts and projects is free to read, with one verified checkpoint so you feel the engine before you subscribe. If you subscribe and it isn't right for you, here's how refunds work.
14 days, no questions asked — if you haven't used it
You can request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment, no reason needed, provided you haven't opened any paywalled concept or project. The free verified checkpoint is part of the free tier, not paywalled content — running or completing it never counts against this window, subscribed or not. If you subscribed, read only what's already free, and decided it isn't for you, email billing@cloudsynth.dev from your account email, or reply to your Stripe receipt, and we'll process it in full. Refunds are issued by Stripe to your original payment method; they typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Once you've opened anything beyond the free concepts and projects, the subscription is considered used and falls outside this no-questions-asked window — see “After 14 days” below for what's still possible.
Renewals and cancellation
Your membership renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing — it stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't automatically refund a renewal once it's billed, but if an auto-renewal caught you by surprise, email us at billing@cloudsynth.dev within 14 days of that charge and we'll refund it, provided you haven't opened any paywalled content in the new period.
Team plans
Team purchases follow the same rule: refundable in full within 14 days of purchase, provided nobody on the team has opened any paywalled concept or project yet. Once any seat has been used to view paid content, the purchase is considered used. Contact us and we'll sort it out.
Your statutory rights
If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital services. By purchasing, you consent to the service starting immediately; where the law permits, this affects the statutory right for content already accessed — but our own 14-day policy above applies regardless, so in practice you're covered either way. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law.
After 14 days
Outside the 14-day window we generally don't refund, but if something's gone genuinely wrong — a billing error, a duplicate charge, an outage that locked you out — email us at billing@cloudsynth.dev and we'll make it right.
