A partition key, a sort key, and the two connections a function needs before it can actually reach the table — its environment variable and its grant.
A table with no key schema doesn't exist — DynamoDB needs a partition key before it'll create anything, and a function with no way to reach that table can't read or write a single item, no matter how correct its code is.
